Now, to better serve our growing portfolio of enterprise clients, we are creating a Customer Delivery function to bring predictable, high-quality releases and implementations.
As Head of Customer Delivery, you will report directly to senior leadership (VP Software Engineering) and spearhead a newly established function tasked with end-to-end enterprise client delivery. You will manage a team of Technical Project Managers and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to plan, execute, and monitor client-specific features, integrations, and rollouts. Your technical background will be essential in aligning customer requirements with Bloq.it’s core roadmap, driving predictable, scalable delivery processes, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish & Lead the Customer Delivery Function : Define and implement a cross-functional framework that manages client-specific software releases, coordinating with Product, Engineering, QA, and Support.
- Oversee the delivery pipeline to balance roadmap priorities with customer-specific needs, ensuring minimal context switching for engineering teams.
- Team Management & Development : Lead a team of Software/Technical Project Managers.
- Provide clear goals, performance metrics, and growth paths for your team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Customer Alignment & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for client delivery, working closely with enterprise customers to define requirements, manage expectations, and coordinate releases.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Product to ensure consistent communication of project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Technical Coordination & Risk Mitigation: Leverage your technical background to anticipate and resolve challenges around integrations, API changes, or architecture adjustments.
- Drive risk management practices, SLA tracking, and clear documentation for all in-flight projects.
- Delivery Governance & Metrics: Implement standardized delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) and relevant KPIs (on-time delivery, SLA compliance, customer satisfaction).
- Create transparent reporting frameworks (MBRs, QBRs) to keep internal and external stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Technical Background: Demonstrated experience in software development, systems architecture, or technical project management. Familiarity with cloud environments, APIs, and integration best practices is highly valued.
- Enterprise Delivery Expertise: Proven track record overseeing complex, large-scale client implementations in a SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-centric environment.
- Leadership & Team Building: Experience hiring, managing, and mentoring project managers or similar roles, with strong coaching and feedback skills.
- Strategic & Operational Balance: Ability to define delivery strategies and also dive into details to resolve technical obstacles or process bottlenecks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at liaising with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external stakeholders to align priorities and maintain shared accountability.
- Data-Driven & Process-Oriented: Comfortable using project management tools, metrics, and reporting to ensure delivery transparency and continuous improvement.
