We are in search of a Maintenance Technician in Ghent to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that machines, equipment and facilities are kept running smoothly and maintained. This position requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise and the ability to solve maintenance problems effectively.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Perform on-site mechanical repairs and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation of parcel lockers;
• Perform electrical and safety testing, in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards;
• Verify and control installation quality;
• Find creative ways to solve electrical, electronic and mechanical problems in the field;
• Work closely with the deployment and maintenance team to escalate and resolve complex issues;
• Document technical issues and resolutions in the internal knowledge base;
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and document activities, including continuous improvement opportunities;
• Carry out work in accordance with procedures, specifications and test instructions;
• Ensure efficient handling and optimum use of spare parts;
• Act as a safety ambassador within the team and promote a safe working environment.

What are the requirements to join us in this position:

• Fluency in English and in Flemish;
• Comfortable with Excel and data entry tasks;
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Excellent customer service skills and patience in dealing with technical and non-technical users;
• Comfortable with technology, including hardware and software aspects;
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and workloads.

• Professional technical training or equivalent experience
• Electrical approvals
