We are in search of an Accounting Specialist o join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses;

• Coordinate audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards;

• Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis on variances and recommendations for improvement;

• Develop and implement internal control policies, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations;

• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting efficiency;

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations and fiscal compliance.
  

What you’ll bring to the table: 

• 1+ year of experience;

• Fluent in English and Portuguese;

• Demonstrated experience as an Accounting or Controlling Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in an international environment;

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo) and the ability to expedite their implementation from a financial perspective;

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights;

• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations;

• Understanding of international tax regulations, IFRS, and local labor laws.
