We are now in search of an Accountant to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar!

What you’ll be doing: 

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management, ensuring accuracy and compliance;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow analyses;

• Support audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards;

• Support the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis on variances and recommendations for improvement;

• Develop and implement internal control policies, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations;

• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations and reporting efficiency;

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations and fiscal compliance.
  

What you’ll bring to the table: 

• 3+ year of experience fluent in English and Portuguese;

• Demonstrated experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in an international environment;

• Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to expedite their implementation from financial perspective (preferably Odoo but not mandatory);

• Effective communications skills to collaborate with senior team members and present financial insights;

• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to address challenges and optimize financial operations;

• Understanding of international tax regulations, IFRS and local GAAP.
  

It would be great if you would also have:

• Odoo ERP knowledge;

• Excel skills.
