Founder's Associate
At Bloq.it, we're creating the future of parcel delivery.
You've probably walked past our lockers on the streets of your city. That's where it starts — but we're building something much bigger: the infrastructure layer for how Europe receives deliveries.
We've scaled past €100M+ in revenue across 9 countries in under four years, and we're now one of the fastest growing tech scale-ups in Europe, as our products are used by tens of millions of people every month.
We are in search of a Founder's Associate to join our team as our new #bloqstar. This isn't a typical role. You'll work directly alongside one of our Founders on the things that don't fit neatly into any department: shaping company culture, building how we communicate internally and externally, running high-stakes projects, and generally making sure Bloq.it looks and feels as good as it performs.
Fair warning -- this role is fast, messy, and demanding. You'll context-switch constantly, deal with incomplete information, and be expected to deliver work that matters on tight timelines. It won't be easy. But if you're the right person, it'll be the most fun you've had at work — and you'll grow faster here than anywhere else.
What you'll be doing:
Work side-by-side with the founder/COO on strategic, creative, and operational projects that cut across the entire company — the kind of work that matters but doesn't belong to any single team;
Own the preparation and delivery of key presentations, executive reports, and internal communications for the COO/CRO office — making sure everything that leaves the founder's desk is sharp, clear, and on-brand;
Take loosely defined problems and turn them into structured plans — whether it's preparing for an investor meeting, designing a new internal initiative, or building the narrative for a customer pitch;
Be a creative sounding board and co-pilot: research, draft, challenge, and refine ideas across strategy, culture, brand, and communications;
Represent the founder's office in cross-functional conversations when needed — with the judgment to know when to act and when to escalate;
Spot the gaps that nobody else is looking at — from employer brand to how we onboard new countries to how our meeting culture works — and propose ways to fix them;
Build and maintain the operational rhythm of the founder's office: tracking commitments, preparing briefs, following up on what matters.
What you'll bring to the table:
Experience in a fast-paced environment — consulting, venture capital, startup operations, or a similar role where you wore many hats and moved fast;
Exceptional taste — you notice when a presentation is mediocre, when an email misses the tone, when a process feels clunky. You care about how things look and feel, not just whether they work;
Strong writing and communication skills in English — you can draft a board-ready memo, a punchy Slack message, and an internal announcement with equal ease;
Comfort with ambiguity and context-switching — your Monday might be building a financial model for a new market entry, your Tuesday preparing a board deck, your Wednesday sitting in a customer negotiation taking notes on what was promised;
High agency — you don't wait to be told what to do. You see what needs doing and you move;
Financially literate — you can read a P&L, build a scenario model in Sheets, sanity-check unit economics, and spot when numbers don't add up. You don't need to be a finance person, but you need to speak the language;
AI-native — you already use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools as part of how you work, not as a novelty. You know how to prompt well, when to trust the output, and when not to. This isn't a nice-to-have — it's how this role operates at speed;
Discretion and maturity — you'll have access to sensitive information and high-stakes conversations from day one.
It would be great if you would also have:
You've started something yourself — a company, a product, a community project. Even if it didn't work out, you understand what it feels like to build from zero and make decisions without a playbook;
Experience at a scale-up during a high-growth phase (Series B–D), ideally one where you saw the org go from scrappy to structured and had opinions about what was lost and gained;
Familiarity with hardware, logistics, or infrastructure businesses — understanding that not everything is a software problem;
Design skills or strong design instincts — ability to build a clean slide deck, structure a Notion page, or brief a designer with clarity;
Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or corporate development processes.
Why join us?
The rarest kind of role at a scale-up — direct access to a founder, exposure to every part of the business, and genuine influence on how the company evolves;
A dynamic and fast-paced work environment with a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning;
Competitive salary and flexible benefits package, tailored to your experience and skills;
Access to a stock option package — you'll have skin in the game as Bloq.it continues to grow;
Performance-based bonus, tied to your results and designed to reward your impact;
Portuguese Health Insurance including mental health;
Flexible Sports and Wellness membership covering multiple gyms and studios;
If you require any special arrangements during the recruitment process, please let us know so that we can accommodate you in the best possible way.

About Bloq.it
At Bloq.it, we provide end-to-end solutions for Smart Lockers, and our software ecosystem, Bloq.it OS, is the leading tech solution available in the market.
We've had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in e-commerce, logistics, and retail in Europe, such as Vinted and DHL.
We have recently become the fastest-growing Smart Locker company in the world. Before Bloq.it the industry had stagnated and lacked innovation and good products. We strive to have the same impact in this industry as Tesla has had on the car industry.
We believe that Smart Lockers are a big part of the future for everyone, and we want to play our part in making sure that Smart Lockers become as mainstream as the mobile phone.
