Business Performance Manager
You've probably walked past our lockers on the streets of your city. That's where it starts — but we're building something much bigger: the infrastructure layer for how Europe receives deliveries.
We've scaled past €100M in revenue across 9 countries in under four years, with tens of millions of people using our products every month. And we're now one of the fastest growing tech scale-ups in Europe.
We are in search of a Business Performance Manager to join our team as our new #bloqstar. You'll be the person who turns operational noise into clarity — designing the KPIs, frameworks, and reporting that tell us exactly how we're performing, where we're stuck, and what to fix next.
This is not a "build dashboards and wait for someone to ask questions" role. You'll own the analytical backbone of how we manage delivery performance across all customers and markets — from hypercare through to steady-state operations. You'll dig into raw data, structure problems, quantify impact, and drive the recommendations that move things forward.
Fair warning — we're scaling fast and the data and reporting capabilities are scaling with us. You'll often need to pull from multiple systems and build the picture yourself before you can analyse it. If you need everything pre-structured to do good work, this isn't the role.
What you'll be doing
Design, implement, and maintain delivery performance KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks — building a single source of truth for how we're performing across all customers and markets;
Deliver executive-level insights on portfolio health, delivery performance, risks, and trends — the kind of reporting that leadership actually uses to make decisions, not slides that get skimmed;
Lead root cause analysis and bottleneck identification initiatives, scoping and prioritising investigations based on quantified business impact (affected lockers, parcels at risk, issue age, operational cost);
Build business cases and data-driven recommendations that translate findings into action — not just "here's what's broken" but "here's what to fix, in what order, and why";
Design and maintain a standardised hypercare and exit readiness framework — stability targets, hard gates, exit scoring models — enabling objective customer comparisons and smoother transitions to BAU;
Drive process intelligence by mapping, measuring, and analysing end-to-end onboarding and delivery workflows, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for operational improvement at scale;
Partner with the Product Data team on reporting infrastructure, metric governance, and data standards to ensure consistency and scalability as our data capabilities mature;
Get your hands dirty with raw data from multiple sources — ERP, ticketing, IoT telemetry, CRM, spreadsheets — especially in areas where structured reporting doesn't yet exist.
What you'll bring to the table
5+ years of experience in business analytics, PMO, management consulting, or a similar role where you combined analytical depth with business judgment;
Strong problem-structuring ability — you know how to take a vague "something is wrong with performance in market X" and turn it into a scoped investigation with clear outputs;
Proficiency in SQL and at least one BI/visualisation tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) — you can build your own queries and dashboards without depending on a data team;
Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills — pivot tables, complex formulas, data cleaning. This will be a daily tool, not a fallback;
Experience designing KPI frameworks and performance management systems — you've defined metrics, set targets, and built the reporting cadence around them;
Ability to communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders — you can present to a VP as clearly as you can discuss data logic with an engineer;
Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments where priorities shift and perfect data doesn't always exist;
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platforms.
It would be great if you would also have
Experience in hardware, IoT, logistics, or infrastructure businesses — where operational performance has a physical-world dimension, not just digital metrics;
Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis beyond what SQL and Sheets can handle;
Experience building hypercare, go-live, or operational readiness frameworks for customer-facing deployments;
Background in process mining or process intelligence tooling (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or similar);
Experience working with multiple data sources in environments where the data warehouse is still catching up to the business — you've dealt with messy, inconsistent, multi-system data before and know how to make it useful anyway.
Why join us?
A role with real analytical ownership — you won't be supporting someone else's framework, you'll be building it;
A dynamic and fast-paced work environment with a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning;
Competitive salary and flexible benefits package, tailored to your experience and skills;
Performance-based bonus, tied to your results and designed to reward your impact;
Work how you work best — we offer a remote-friendly policy and flexible hours so you can stay productive and keep life balanced;
Portuguese Health Insurance including mental health;
Flexible Sports and Wellness membership covering multiple gyms and studios.

About Bloq.it
At Bloq.it, we provide end-to-end solutions for Smart Lockers, and our software ecosystem, Bloq.it OS, is the leading tech solution available in the market.
We've had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in e-commerce, logistics, and retail in Europe, such as Vinted and DHL.
We have recently become the fastest-growing Smart Locker company in the world. Before Bloq.it the industry had stagnated and lacked innovation and good products. We strive to have the same impact in this industry as Tesla has had on the car industry.
We believe that Smart Lockers are a big part of the future for everyone, and we want to play our part in making sure that Smart Lockers become as mainstream as the mobile phone.
